On Saturday June 12th the Cambridge Rocket Club hosted its first Spring launch of the year. We were confined to COVID-19 outdoor gathering limits of no more than 10 people so we had to schedule our launch into two launch windows. The weather was ideal with bright skies, warm temperatures and light winds. A total of ten CRC members participated in the launch and managed to fly 42 rockets in total. The launches included all engine types from 1/2A to G motors. We launched some two stage, cluster and scale models. We burned 47 model rocket engines with a theoretical total impulse of 1,118 Neutons. It was a fun day and great to see everyone again.
Our next bi-weekly launch is scheduled for Saturday June 26th and the theme for this launch will be multi-stage rockets.
Hope to see as many of you as possible on the 26th.
