On June 20, 2020 the Cambridge Rocket Club hosted it’s third and largest launch of the season (so far). We once again flew under COVID-19 protocol which limited us to no more than ten (10) people at the launch site for each of a morning and afternoon launch window. The weather was ideal, 30 degree temperatures, blue sky and less than 10 KPH winds. We managed to launch a total of sixty-five (65) rockets using model rocket engines from 1/2A to G Impulse.
We flew single, two and three stage rockets as well as scale and on board video camera models. We also flew a boost glider (twice). The launch success rate was very high and I do not believe that we managed to lose any rockets. We burned a total of seventy-five (75) model rocket engines with a combined impulse of 2,501 Newtons.
