On Saturday August 24, 2019 the Cambridge Rocket Club hosted it’s tenth launch of the year. The weather was ideal for flying with clear skies, calm winds and 21 degree temperatures. We had a total of 13 rocketeers and another 13 guests and spectators over the course of a long day. By the end of the day we flew 75 model rockets, the second highest total for this year.
The rockets included scale models, rocket gliders, cluster rockets and two stage rockets. We managed to burn a total of 85 model rocket engines totaling 1,678 Newtons in impulse.
